Quick Update

The Task Force Meeting Minutes from 1/19/08 have been posted (see link at right).

The Sweet Tomatoes Fundraiser is this week, January 28-31!  See below to download the flyer.

Our current fundraising total is $18,803 in unrestricted funds.  Our goal is to have $83,000 in unrestricted funds before the February 21 board meeting, so we still need help!  Every donation counts — if you haven’t given yet, please do, and ask family and friends to give as well.

Sweet Tomatoes Fundraiser!

From Monday, January 28 through Thursday, January 31, if you visit a Portland-area Sweet Tomatoes restaurant (Clackamas, Tigard, Beaverton, or Vancouver) and take one of the attached flyers, Sweet Tomatoes will donate 15% of your pre-tax purchase to Girl Scouts – Columbia River Council for Camp Arrowhead.

Please distribute the flyer to friends, relatives, co-workers, etc.  We do have to follow these rules:

1. Please do not distribute flyers in the restaurant, parking lot or
vicinity.
2. Please communicate to everyone participating in your “Fun-
Raiser” that coupons or discounts will not be honored; however, 15% of their pre-
tax food and beverage purchases will be donated to your organization.
3. One flyer is required per transaction.

Also, according to the flyer, you have to purchase a meal AND a beverage for your purchase to qualify.

Thanks for helping to raise funds for Camp Arrowhead!  Don’t forget to send in your donation for Arrowhead if you haven’t already.
