About Camp Arrowhead

Camp Arrowhead is one of four resident camps operated by Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington.  It is located in the Columbia River Gorge, near Stevenson, Washington.

Camp Arrowhead includes 266 acres of property, a main lodge with industrial kitchen, office, infirmary and staff cabins, four unit houses with rustic sleeping cabins, and outer units with tents and tepees for older girls.

Camp Arrowhead was closed during the summer of 2007 due to problems with the water system and other concerns. The council’s board of directors had voted in August 2007 to sell the property, but after volunteers campaigned to save the camp, the board voted in October 2007 to delay the sale, and in February 2008 voted to retain ownership of the property.

The camp re-opened for summer 2008, and is currently available for troop camping during spring and fall months as well as summer resident camp.
